Paracord has thousands of uses as a general purpose rope and as real survival cord. While Polyester Paracord is a value alternative to true Nylon paracord, it has virtually all of the great features and benefits of true military paracord 550. This paracord is has a polyester cover and 7 individually twisted polyester strands inside. Polyester is as strong as nylon and even more abrasion resistant, but lacks the same stretch qualities as nylon. Don’t let this rope’s small size fool you – it’s strong and abrasion resistant, all the while being compact and lightweight. Do not use for overhead lifting. Never exceed the Safe Work Load (SWL).
